Associate Director of Development

The Diocese of Trenton has an immediate opening for an Associate Director of Development. This individual will support the Diocese of Trenton’s fundraising efforts by coordinating the implementation of development campaigns and initiatives. Reporting to the Director of Development, this position helps translate fundraising strategy into effective operations through campaign management, donor and parish engagement, staff coordination, and vendor relationships. 

 

This individual will work closely with the Director of Development and the parishes on the Annual Catholic Appeal; Catholic Schools Have It All Annual Fund; Fundraising Initiatives and Program Growth; and Staff Coordination and Gift Processing Oversight.

 

This position requires strong supervisory skills; excellent written, public speaking and presentation skills; previous experience in a Catholic or Independent school, or in higher education advancement; Capital Campaign experience preferred.

 

Salary offered will be commensurate with knowledge and experience.  This full-time position offers a salary range of $75,000 - $85,000.  Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, although a master’s degree is strongly preferred; 7 to 10 years progressive fundraising/development experience; and a working knowledge of Raiser’s Edge.  Occasional evening and weekend hours are required.  A Roman Catholic, in good standing, is required.
